Glacier and Whale Watch Combo
Maximize your time in Juneau by seeing the best it has to offer. The spectacular Mendenhall Glacier and our largest local residents-the humpback whales!
On this tour our first stop is Auke Bay Harbor where you will board one of our new, custom made whale watching boats. You are on the water for 2 hours experiencing the wonder of the humpback whales and maybe some other wildlife as well.
Next a bus will take you to the beautiful Mendenhall Glacier National Park. The Mendenhall Glacier is one of 38 glaciers flowing from the massive 1,500-square-mile Juneau Ice field. exploration of this glacial wonder from a variety of perspectives like Nugget Creek Falls and Photo Point Trail, which winds along Mendenhall Lake to an unobstructed view of the glacier's face. There you can also visit the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center for an elevated view of the glacier as well as interactive geological exhibits explaining glacier formation. Then take our convienient half-hourly shuttle back to town.
This combo tour includes all transportation from the main port in Juneau, to the Mendenhall glacier, to Auke Bay harbor and back to the port. It takes about 5 hours.

Things To Bring
Layers, with the top being waterproof. Comfotable non slip shoes. A hat for sun or rain.
All transportation. A snack and drink on the boat.
Does not include $3 entrance fee to the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center.
We do accept late arrivals due to changes in the cruise ship schedule, whenever possible.

Check in as soon as you arrive at the port. Check in right in front of Mt. Roberts Tramway.
Check in with our dock representative in front of the MT. ROBERTS TRAMWAY. It is in the center of the downtown dock area and within walking distance from all the docks except one. That dock provides a "downtown" shuttle.
